Founder of the True Athlete Project joins me to talk about the pressures of sport, making sports human, US sports culture, religion and sport, New World energy, sport and compassion, how to teach mindfulness to normal people, circles, “less battle ball and more soul craft”, outdoor practice, nationalism, character building, and the cockiness of “true” athlete, politics in sports, diversity issues and more.
A wonderful chat for anyone interested in sports or transcendence.
