Why bring the body into coaching?

Coaching often works through language – a good question, useful reflection, or well-timed silence can change a session.

But many clients can explain their issue clearly and still stay stuck.

They know the pattern. They can describe the story. They may even have the insight. And then they keep doing the same thing.

Embodiment gives coaches another way in. By working with posture, movement, sensation, touch, centring and state, clients can often notice patterns more quickly and explore change more directly.

The body is not a metaphor. It is where many coaching patterns are being lived.
