“In a decadent society people die from comfort, fail from ease, and hate life because of luxury.

We have an excess of food so die of heart attacks and the like. This is established. The easiest products to buy are high sugar, high processed fats, alcohol etc. We are surrounded by dopamine mouth crack, and then told we need willpower to diet.

The deep satisfactions of life are also only found the other side of HARD too. Finding purpose is uncomfortable until it’s a joy. Long-term relationships are sometimes uncomfortable as well as a joy. Deep spiritual practice is uncomfortable as well as a joy. Growth is hard. People are hard. Life is hard FFS!”
