If so, welcome to the club. We’ve supported thousands of students and clients to embody boundaries. Many caring, empathetic people struggle to set clear limits because they worry about hurting others, appearing selfish, or facing confrontation.
But when your boundaries are unclear, life can feel overwhelming and exhausting:
Without clear embodied boundaries, eventually your health, relationships, or happiness suffer. But some practical tools will allow you to shift from overwhelm to enjoying your life again.
Life’s simply nicer when you embody clear boundaries:
Embodied boundary-setting isn’t about building walls or isolating yourself. Rather, it’s about creating genuine connections built on honesty and respect.
Over eight weeks, you’ll learn practical, embodied techniques to set clear boundaries in your life. No complicated theories, just straightforward practices that you can apply immediately.
With clear embodied boundaries, you can:
Confidently say “no” without guilt or awkwardness
Protect your energy by clearly sensing and communicating your personal limits
Deepen relationships with clearer communication, less resentment, and mutual respect
This journey isn’t about confrontation or becoming harsh. It’s about gently and firmly reclaiming your life and energy, step-by-step.
Clear embodied boundaries aren’t just good for you. They benefit everyone around you:
You deserve a life where your boundaries support your wellbeing, instead of undermining it.
Over eight practical weeks – starting August 7 and ending September 25 – you’ll learn gentle, effective embodied boundary techniques.
Short sessions, easy-to-use tools, and immediate results for busy people who actually have lives.
Here’s what you’ll cover each week:
By the end of these eight weeks, you’ll have a set of practical, embodied tools to protect your energy, communicate confidently, and cultivate genuinely healthier relationships in daily life.
We meet live every Thursday at 5pm UK time (6pm CET / 12pm ET / 9am PT / 2am AEST).

These weekly live sessions are optional, providing support, practice, and community when you need it. Join live as often as you like, or simply listen to recordings while out walking or doing chores. There’s no screen time required.
You’ll have full access to recordings, so it’s fine if your schedule varies or you prefer to watch later.

Mark Walsh teaches embodiment, trauma education and resilience.
He is the author of Embodiment, The Body in Training and Coaching, Embodied Meditation and People Un-Pleasing.
He hosts The Embodiment Coaching Podcast (2 million+ downloads), and led The Embodiment Conference (1000 teachers, 500,000 delegates). Seeing a theme yet?
He co-founded the Embodied Facilitator Course, and the online Certificate of Embodiment Coaching Course. He has certified over 2000 embodiment coaches, and taught workshops in over 40 countries.
Mark gained an honours in psychology, despite been an alcoholic at the time.
He has taught widely in the corporate world where he pretended to be a grown up for years, including with blue-chip companies (e.g. Google, Unilever, Shell, Axa, L’Oreal).
He has worked in war zones (including founding a trauma education charity in Ukraine), and entertained over 50,000 children.
Mark has headlined International Coach Federation events, lived with the circus and in slums, taught celebrities, and kissed a princess.
He's an aikido black belt, and also has 28 years of experience of other martial arts, with yoga, bodywork, improv comedy, conscious dance and meditation.
Embodiment is his obsession, life’s work, and frankly at this point he couldn’t get a job doing anything else.
Mark dances like your dad at a wedding, impresses cats with his stroking, and offends pirates with his swearing.
He is now tired of writing in the third person. It’s getting weird.
Founder of Embodiment Unlimited
After a career as a doctor within the National Health Service, spanning 25 years, Helen retired as consultant psychiatrist due to health challenges in 2017.
Initially she found herself floundering in a new existence, with illness, pain and fatigue, and little idea how to help herself.
Having practised yoga on and off since the age of 16, she completed her teacher training and a array of other courses, including Spiritual Coaching, with Caroline Shola Arewa and Embodiment Coaching, with Embodiment Unlimited.
Helen's Yoga training was completed with Yoga Alliance International directly with Swami Vidyanand, and also with YogaCourse, YogaRenew. She deepened her training by working with Kristine Weber of Subtle Yoga since around 2018.
As a life-long learner, Helen has and continues to complete an array of other trainings.
Since retirement she's channelled her passion into holistic wellness: yoga, embodiment, building wellness and resilience.
She particularly likes working with people with persistent health issues, pain and fatigue.
Helen also supports people with stress, overwhelm and burnout (they are often the same people!)
She offers a blend of yoga, meditation, education, and embodiment exploration practices designed to promote wellness and resilience.
Sessions are crafted to be slow and mindful, fostering a deep connection within.
Whether you're new to yoga or have long standing experience, these practices are accessible.
Practices are all about developing your 'nervous system resilience'

“If you’ve scrolled down this far, my guess is something about setting boundaries resonates.
To be honest, I’ve never really struggled with saying ‘no’. In fact, friends have occasionally pointed out I might be a bit too good at it! But after supporting thousands of students and clients who are empathetic, caring, and often exhausted from saying ‘yes’ too often, I’ve learned a thing or two about what genuinely helps.
Here’s what I’ve noticed: ignoring boundary issues rarely makes them better. Your body starts with whispers but ends up shouting… usually at highly inconvenient times.
Boundary issues aren’t something life naturally sorts out for you. Usually, the opposite happens: things get messier, resentments grow deeper, and recovery becomes harder the longer you wait.
Healthy boundaries help prevent burnout before it hits, protect your energy, and stop resentment in its tracks. They restore important relationships by building trust and genuine connection… even with difficult people. They help you reclaim your time, attention, and energy for what truly matters.
The good news is you don’t have to become cold, harsh, or overly guarded. Simple, embodied practices can make setting boundaries feel natural, clear, and even enjoyable. You can still care deeply about others without neglecting your own needs.
You deserve a life where your needs matter, too. If that sounds good, I warmly invite you to join us.”

Those who join for six months will get access to our most popular self-paced courses on boundaries, trauma superpowers & leadership.
Join for six months or two years and you’ll get free access to one live, in-person workshop for real, face-to-face connection.
Choose from nature retreats in Slovenia or weekend masterclasses in bigger cities like London or Amsterdam.
For those who want regular, small-group connection, peer groups offer consistent practice and deeper accountability.
Many students say it’s their favourite part of our courses, because real transformation happens when you support each other.
If you’re done with overwhelm, resentment, and awkward “yeses”, this might be for you.
These options give you options for different levels of budget and commitment.
All include weekly-call recordings, but if you can attend live, the community membership offers real-time support & accountability.
If you have questions, check out the FAQ below or email Virginia at support@embodimentunlimited.com to help you to decide if it’s a good fit.
*There is a recordings-only option available for those who won’t ever be able to attend live. Email Virginia for that, too.*
You pay upfront for whatever option is the best fit for you now – monthly, six months or two years – but then won’t be charged again until you’ve experienced that duration of the membership.
So if you choose the monthly option and you sign up 10 days before the course platform opens, you’ll be charged today but then not again until one month and 10 days after your original payment.
It works the same for six months – you won’t pay again until 6 months and 10 days after your first, etc. We don’t want to charge you for “inactive” time! 🙂
As long as you cancel before the next payment date, you won’t be charged again if you decide it’s not a fit for you. However, note that there are no “partial refunds” (e.g. if you decide after four months that the six month option isn’t a fit for you now, we won’t refund two months of that).
Since Embodied Boundaries doesn’t start for around two months, you’ll pay the first bit now to save your place, but then won’t pay again until the duration you’ve paid for plus around two months (so the next payment is around three months away for monthly and eight months away for 6-month people).
In essence, this works the same as any membership, like joining a gym or online streaming service.
Our Nervous System Health journey comes just before Embodied Boundaries on our Embodied Flourishing membership.

Sure – that’s what it’s mainly about. It’s not limited to those suffering for burnout or health problems.
Well, in some sense we live in a burnt-out society. Like the taste of our own mouth or smell of our own house, we often don’t realise until we’re removed from that situation (hey holidays!).
But even if you’re not, this will help you enjoy life more now and help you to avoid any problems down the road, too.
If you stay the full two years, you unlock lifetime access to the recordings (either through staying monthly for two years or paying up-front for two years).
Nothing! This is to serve you 🙂
Come live when it works for you.
If you miss sessions that you’d like to watch, simply catch up by watching the recordings.

Yes – Embodied Flourishing is designed to be flexible and supportive. In fact, it’s what we (Mark and Helen) wish we had when we were going through similar things.
We offer short, gentle practices you can adapt daily, even if you’re dealing with fatigue or health struggles.
No: We welcome all backgrounds and faiths.
While we discuss meaning and spiritual angles, there’s no single dogma. You choose what works for you.
No: This is an educational program, not a substitute for professional medical care.
We don’t diagnose or treat.
If you have serious trauma or health issues, we recommend external professional support.
Yes, with Care: We use a trauma-sensitive approach, but we’re not therapists.
If you’ve experienced significant trauma, please make sure you have the professional help you need, as embodied work goes deep, fast so can be triggering.
Mark (and Helen) value honesty and a bit of humour. Sometimes the jokes can be edgy.
If you believe in the concept of being offended, you may not enjoy this.
We respect everyone, but will joke about everyone, too 🙂
Yes: Our approach is practical, embodied and fun.
If you want to shag unicorns with your crystal chakra, you might not like our approach. However, if you find that image amusing, then you may not actually hate us 🙂
Generally No: You only retain access while you’re a paying member (like a gym).
However, if you complete the full two-year journey, either monthly or by paying up-front, you’ll get bonus lifetime access to the recordings as a bonus.
Everywhere: Parenting, relationships, deadline stress, daily annoyances.
The goal is to make deep, embodied shifts second nature in daily life.
No: This is personal learning, not a coaching certification.
If you want to teach these tools, you may like our Certification of Embodiment Coaching (CEC).
Sure, but… The membership is aimed at your personal transformation.
You might integrate the insights with your own style, but you’re not officially certified to coach them, and ethically, we generally recommend not doing so.
Compared to burnout, the toll of unhandled stress (medical bills, lost productivity) can be far higher.
You’ll also likely go to another level in whatever you currently do, so we hope this will more than pay for itself over time.
No: Live attendance is great for community Q&A, but we don’t track attendance. Replays and flexible scheduling make it doable for most.
No problem – email Virginia on support@embodimentunlimited.com. We’d rather clear things up than have you miss a chance to flourish with us.
If you have a question that’s not answered above, email Virginia at support@embodimentunlimited.com
