Mark Walsh

Founder of Embodiment Unlimited

Mark Walsh is an embodiment coach and trainer specialising in trauma education, resilience and embodied leadership.

He’s the author of five books, host of The Embodiment Coaching Podcast (3M+ downloads, 700+ episodes), and founder of the global Embodiment Conference, which brought together 500,000 participants and 1000 speakers.

Mark co-founded the Certification of Embodiment Coaching and has trained over 2000 coaches in more than 50 countries. He’s led workshops at companies including Google, Unilever, and L’Oreal, and founded a trauma education charity during the war in Ukraine.

An aikido black belt with nearly 30 years of experience in martial arts, yoga, conscious dance and meditation, embodiment is Mark’s life’s work and greatest passion. He probably couldn’t get a job doing anything else at this point.

Mark dances like your dad at a wedding and impresses cats with his stroking skills.

He’s now tired of writing in the third person.

Dr. Helen Machen-Pearce

Nervous System Educator

After a career as a doctor within the National Health Service, spanning 25 years, Helen retired as consultant psychiatrist due to health challenges in 2017.

Initially she found herself floundering in a new existence, with illness, pain and fatigue, and little idea how to help herself.

Having practised yoga on and off since the age of 16, she completed her teacher training and a array of other courses, including Spiritual Coaching, with Caroline Shola Arewa and Embodiment Coaching, with Embodiment Unlimited.

Helen’s Yoga training was completed with Yoga Alliance International directly with Swami Vidyanand, and also with YogaCourse, YogaRenew. She deepened her training by working with Kristine Weber of Subtle Yoga since around 2018.

As a life-long learner, Helen has and continues to complete an array of other trainings.

Since retirement she’s channelled her passion into holistic wellness: yoga, embodiment, building wellness and resilience.

She particularly likes working with people with persistent health issues, pain and fatigue.

Helen also supports people with stress, overwhelm and burnout (they are often the same people!).

She offers a blend of yoga, meditation, education, and embodiment exploration practices designed to promote wellness and resilience.

Dr. Myriam Hadnes

Facilitation Evangelist

With a PhD in Behavioural Economics, Myriam is a Facilitation Evangelist — a practitioner obsessed with uncovering why some facilitated experiences spark curiosity while others send people scrolling.

Myriam has hosted the workshops work podcast for more than 300 episodes, publishing a new conversation with facilitation experts each week. During the pandemic, she founded the NeverDoneBefore Festival and community — an international online experiment where facilitators co-created and delivered hundreds of “never done before” workshops between 2020 and 2024.

Through her boutique agency workshops.work, Myriam and her team deliver over 200 workshops each year to help multinational organisations turn collaboration from a buzzword into a lived experience.

As a long-distance runner and soon-to-be author of Unprofessionalism, Myriam believes the future of work isn’t about being more polished, but about daring to be more human.

Why this matters

our“I’ve spent a couple of decades training coaches, working with corporates, and supporting NGOs in 40+ countries. Frankly, facilitating has been my life.

One thing I notice everywhere though, is that facilitation can be lonely. On Zoom or in person, there’s often nobody to learn and grow with. This is a pity, as we all need community.

I’ve seen a lot of burnout in the field, from overwork, travel and money stress. I’ve been there and learnt a bunch of tools to help: nervous system work, boundaries, embodiment techniques, etc. Now I share these regularly with my colleague Helen as they are clearly needed!

Facilitators in Flow is a community membership for wellbeing and ongoing learning. To keep growing sustainably, each week we share a short practice that fit into member’s lives. There’s a monthly facilitation masterclass, and from November, there are Friday labs, where members offer workshops for learning, practice and connection.

Learning is great, burnout sucks, and you don’t have to go it alone.”
