EMBODIMENT COACHING APPRENTICESHIP · TWO PLACES ONLY

Become a top tier embodiment coach

Start with the six-month Certification of Embodiment Coaching (CEC), continue into the eighteen-month Masters of Embodiment Coaching (MEC), and have ten guaranteed private sessions with me along the way, on top of the usual programme support.

For people ready to make embodiment coaching a serious part of their professional work.

Knowing the techniques isn't the hard bit

Say you're coaching someone who struggles to say no. You've got a boundaries exercise in mind, which is good, but how do you know whether it's right for this person now?

Halfway through they go quiet. You might assume something profound has happened, or reach for another tool. But you don't know what's going on for them yet. Maybe ask before you decide.

Learning techniques can be quick. Developing the practical wisdom to use them well takes longer. You need to be able to:

  • Recognise when you're following a technique rather than responding to the person
  • Remain present when a session doesn't go according to plan
  • Experiment without imposing your interpretation on a client
  • Work confidently within your scope (and know when to refer)

That's what practice, feedback and longer mentoring are for. Someone who gets to know your coaching can spot the things you keep doing, even when you haven't noticed them yourself.

One complete pathway with three different kinds of development

First

Build your foundation with CEC

· Six months

Develop your own embodiment, learn the core coaching craft and practise using body-based methods with real people. You'll receive teaching, demonstrations, feedback and opportunities to develop your skills through live coaching and peer practice. CEC gives you a complete professional foundation.

Next

Develop fluency through MEC

· Eighteen months

MEC gives you eighteen months of supervision, practice, feedback and advanced training. It's time to develop fluency and the practical wisdom to know when a technique helps, when to adapt it and when to leave it alone.

Throughout

Ten guaranteed private sessions with me

Individual mentorship across both programmes

We'll work on your development one-to-one. Bring coaching situations, technical questions, professional decisions or challenges that keep recurring in your work. Across ten sessions, we can return to earlier conversations and build on what's changed.

What could we work on across ten private sessions?

Bring a difficult client, a workshop that went sideways or something a client said that got under your skin. We can look at what happened and what you'd try next.

Perhaps you keep using the same couple of techniques, or want to bring embodiment into more conventional coaching without making it weird. We can work on that too.

Later, you might want help with workshops, a new specialism, pricing or building a sustainable practice. We can come back to these questions as your work develops.

Advice gets more useful when it has context

Once I know you and your work, I can be more useful than someone who met you ten minutes ago. We can return to an earlier question and see what actually happened.

A quick clarification about what the ten calls mean:

CEC includes its ordinary welcome call, and MEC has its usual supervision and mentoring support, with some ad-hoc conversations possible.

The apprenticeship guarantees ten additional dedicated private sessions with me across CEC and MEC, with booking and usage terms agreed before you enrol.

The ten sessions are guaranteed; extra ad-hoc conversations, lunches or meetings aren't. It's not unlimited private access, but a longer working relationship with time reserved for you.

Why I enjoy mentoring this way

Mentoring students has been one of my deepest joys for years. Really, I live for this shit.

CEC is a big course. I enjoy getting to know individual coaches properly too — what they're good at, where they get stuck, and what they want to do with the work.

Apprenticeship to me is adult-to-adult. I'll challenge you, and you should ask questions and push back. You're a grown-up; the important bit is practising and being willing to learn.

The relationship sometimes goes beyond teaching calls. An earlier mentee did a reading at my wedding (yes, I coached her!). I've also talked about websites and boyfriends, and met people for meals around courses. That's the human side I enjoy.

I'm not interested in producing smaller versions of me. You need to be able to think and coach for yourself when I'm not there. My job is to help you become better at that, in your own way.

Earlier mentees

I've seen earlier mentees take the work in very different directions. Maša Nobilo now runs a sleep-coaching practice. Liz Peters brought embodiment into improv, confidence and communication, and wrote Own It!.

Others came back to teach with us. Christina Dohr is a CEC co-lead trainer, Ranko Čerić is an assistant trainer on CEC, and Carolina Padilla co-teaches executive coaching with me. These are examples from previous mentoring and apprenticeship programmes, not graduates of this new pathway. Their work is theirs.

CEC: Learn to use embodiment with real people

Before you coach other people using embodiment, you need some understanding of your own. That's where CEC begins.

You'll explore how state, attention, posture, movement and relationships influence what you do. You'll work with approaches such as centring, the Four Elements and the Embodied Toolkit, learning through your own experience rather than simply memorising explanations.

You'll learn to listen, ask useful questions, work with consent and boundaries, and bring embodied practice into a coaching conversation in a way that means something to the person in front of you.

You'll practise with fellow students, receive feedback, work with volunteer clients and develop your ability to coach within appropriate professional and ethical boundaries. Assessment is part of the training. Certification depends on demonstrating the required skills, not just showing up.

CEC is a complete coaching foundation you can use independently. You don't need MEC to make it worthwhile.

“I have used the tools and techniques with clients to enable a deeper awareness and different choices.”

— Trea Pluister-van Til (CEC participant)

MEC: Stop trying “the perfect tool” and start responding to the person

CEC gives you the skills and opportunities to practise them. MEC gives you another eighteen months of supervision and advanced work to become more fluent, and to develop the practical wisdom to use those skills well.

You'll also develop specialist skills and get support for the professional and business side of coaching.

In supervision we look at real cases: a client who's stuck, a session that went somewhere unexpected, a difficult relationship or something that's got hooked in you. Sometimes the question is whether an embodied intervention is even appropriate.

Five specialist certification pathways

  • Certification of Embodied Executive Coaching (CEEC)

Applying embodiment with leaders, teams and people in organisational settings.

  • Embodied Toolkit Certification

Extending your range and fluency with the Embodied Toolkit.

  • Trauma Coaching Certification

Developing more trauma-aware coaching within your professional scope, including when to refer.

  • Advanced Coaching Techniques Certification

Broadening your technical options and responsiveness as a coach.

  • Coaching Neurodivergent Clients Certification

Adapting coaching to different neurotypes and individual needs.

These specialisms are included within MEC, but the certificates aren't automatic. You'll need to engage with the learning, respond to feedback and meet the relevant competence standards. The broader aim is to help you become a more capable and adaptable practitioner.

Daniel Navratil (MEC participant, Czechia) describes growing both personally and as a coach through supervision, Mark's coaching and learning with the group.

Why commit to the whole pathway now?

If you already know this is the work you want to get properly good at, you can commit to the full CEC-to-MEC path with personal time together from the start, rather than deciding on the next course later.

You're giving yourself time to practise, get feedback and see how your coaching changes. That's the advantage of a longer relationship.

What will the next two years require from you?

CEC

Six months · Plan for approximately 6 hours per week

CEC is live professional training involving teaching, personal practice, peer coaching, feedback, volunteer-client practice and assessment. It's important to be realistic about the time involved.

CEC requires at least 80% live attendance at core training calls and, separately, at least 80% live attendance at weekly peer-practice meetings. Opening, graduation and any confirmed cohort-specific mandatory sessions also matter. Recordings and required catch-up work help when something is missed, but don't replace live practice or coaching assessment.

Planned

MEC

Eighteen months · A lighter weekly programme

MEC currently involves approximately two hours of live calls per week, plus up to around one additional hour of certification-related work if pursuing certificates. Your personal embodiment and coaching practice are additional and self-directed.

The programme has breaks during the year, making it more manageable alongside professional and family life. In the current MEC model, sessions are recorded and there's no minimum live-attendance requirement, including for specialist certification. Live participation is still encouraged, particularly for supervision and practice.

Certification depends on engaging with the work, responding to feedback and demonstrating competence. If you're not already coaching regularly, working with a practice client is recommended.

Throughout: Your private sessions

The ten private sessions are intended to be used flexibly across the development relationship, under the agreed booking and usage terms. The expected training progression runs from February 2027 into early 2029, with exact programme-end and session-expiry dates confirmed in the enrolment terms.

The programmes are primarily online. I've sometimes met earlier mentees socially around courses and events, but individual in-person meetings aren't guaranteed in this offer. Travel and accommodation aren't included, and in-person attendance isn't a mandatory MEC certification requirement.

Is this the right kind of commitment for you?

This pathway is designed for people who want to use embodiment coaching seriously in their work with others. You might be an established coach, facilitator, trainer, therapist who uses coaching, bodyworker or someone developing a professional practice.

You don't need to arrive as an expert. You do need to be willing to practise, take feedback and challenge your assumptions. It's especially suitable if you want to develop beyond the basics and would value discussing your actual coaching with me and getting honest feedback over time.

You should also be able to make the CEC time commitment and afford the full pathway without creating serious financial strain.

Likewise, this offer isn't intended for people who primarily want passive personal-development content or a qualification without significant coaching practice.

Already enrolled in CEC or MEC? Contact our team before applying so we can check your existing entitlements. Previous purchases don't automatically give credit towards this offer.

What's included in the apprenticeship

  1. The full six-month CEC

The February 2027 Certification of Embodiment Coaching, including live teaching and demonstrations, resources, weekly peer practice, feedback, volunteer-client practice and assessed coaching work.

  2. The full eighteen-month MEC

The planned September 2027 Masters of Embodiment Coaching, including its confirmed teaching, supervision, mentoring, practice opportunities, professional/business support, resources and access to the five specialist certification pathways. The five certificates are subject to meeting their respective assessment and competence requirements.

  3. Ten guaranteed private sessions with me

You'll have ten guaranteed dedicated individual sessions with me across the pathway, in addition to CEC's usual welcome call and MEC's ordinary support and possible ad-hoc conversations. We'll agree the booking, duration and usage terms before you enrol.

The offer consists of these specified programmes and sessions, not unlimited access to every current or future Embodiment Unlimited course or event. Any further inclusions must be expressly stated in the approved entitlement schedule.

Tuition and how to join

I'm opening two places for this full coaching pathway and apprenticeship, and I'll personally speak with each interested person before offering a place. You won't be asked to pay before that conversation and my approval.

Pay in full

US$7,500

One payment for CEC, MEC and ten guaranteed private sessions with me.

Pay in instalments

US$9,000 total

US$3,000 upfront, followed by six monthly payments of US$1,000.

Both options include exactly the same training and guaranteed private sessions. The instalment option costs US$1,500 more overall because it spreads the payments.

Understand the commitment

This is a commitment to the complete pathway, including the future programme places and ten dedicated private sessions. It isn't a cancellable monthly subscription. Choosing instalments means committing to the full US$9,000 total, not purchasing one month of training at a time.

The final enrolment agreement will state your full payment obligation, programme delivery terms, applicable cancellation and refund rights, and the rules governing private-session booking and use.

First, reply to one of my emails or contact the EU team to say you're interested. We'll arrange a conversation so we can both decide whether it's a good fit. If I offer you a place, the team will share the full terms and payment instructions before you commit.

Please read those terms and the CEC participation requirements carefully before paying.

Two places in total.

Have a question about the schedule, suitability or payment terms? You can ask our team before deciding whether to speak with me.

What happens after we talk?

We'll start with a conversation about your work, what you want to develop, and whether this longer commitment makes sense. I'll personally decide whether to offer you one of the two places. No payment is taken before that decision.

If I offer you a place, our team will explain the full terms and both payment options. Once enrolment is confirmed, you'll receive joining information for CEC in February 2027 and MEC planned for September 2027, plus instructions for arranging the ten dedicated sessions.

A few remaining questions

How do I enquire about a place?

Reply to one of my launch emails or contact the EU team and say you're interested. We'll arrange a conversation. If I offer you a place, you'll receive the full terms and payment instructions before committing. There's no public instant checkout.

Do I need to be an experienced coach?

No. CEC provides the foundation. But you should have a real intention to use embodiment coaching with other people, be willing to practise live and take the professional responsibilities seriously.

Do I need to earn my living from coaching?

No. You might use embodiment in facilitation, leadership, training, therapeutic work that includes coaching, or another helping profession. What matters is a meaningful context for applying what you're learning, or a serious intention to develop one.

Can I attend through recordings?

CEC has significant live participation and certification requirements. Recordings help with missed teaching but do not replace the required live work. MEC is more flexible, with recorded sessions and no minimum live-attendance threshold under the current programme model. Demonstrating competence is still necessary for its certifications.

Are MEC certificates automatic or externally accredited?

No. All five specialist pathways are included, but each certificate requires meeting its own competence standards. MEC and its five specialist certificates are issued by Embodiment Unlimited and aren't currently externally accredited. The word 'Masters' is the programme name, not a university Master's degree.

Are the ten private sessions guaranteed?

Yes. You'll have ten guaranteed private sessions with me, subject to the agreed scheduling and usage terms.

What if I want to change my plans after purchasing?

The pathway involves a full contractual commitment, with any instalments financing that agreed purchase. Your rights and obligations, including applicable cancellation and refund provisions, are set out in the approved enrolment terms.

Ready to take your coaching seriously?

I'm looking for two people who want to get really good at this work, are willing to practise and take feedback, and who I'll get on with too. We'll be working together for a while!

If you think that might be you, get in touch and let's have a chat.
