Would becoming more resilient help you?
You’ve likely noticed most people aren’t exactly thriving right now. Whether it’s being a bit on-edge or frazzled, or struggling with serious depression and anxiety, our society’s mental health has never been worse.
Things may go downhill before they get better, too. Even if you aren’t going through a tough time now, what do you think are the chances that will last?
We are in a time of chaos and, if we’re being honest, maybe even collapse. But that doesn’t mean you have to despair for yourself or those you care about.
You can either wait until you, or your loved ones, are overwhelmed, or you can step-up and learn the best skills for staying happy, healthy and sane… Now!
Do you want to thrive, even when things are shitty (technical term)? How about helping those you care about do the same?
Deep Resilience will equip you to do that, beyond shallow “tricks and tips”. This deeper approach will fundamentally impact your capacity to not just withstand, but grow from, adversity.
Through exploring new worldviews, and embodying new ways of being, you can become bullshitproof (again, Walsh© 🙂).
You’ll learn the top practical embodiment techniques to build resilience, drawn from the thousands that we’ve studied, AND embed them in a community of practice (this is key – it’s not just about getting the info).
You’ll also be encouraged to build your own radically resilient philosophy, drawing from the many I’ll offer – Traditional Buddhism, animism, kink, Stoicism, Nietzsche, etc. – to change the way you fundamentally approach life.
We will uproot your fragility, and build a new hardcore core (which may well be quite soft, paradoxically).
Now, you’re probably not starting from scratch, so we’ll be right in at the deep-end of the volcano, with the world’s very best ninja centring.
You’ll implement what you learn at all levels – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual – whilst being supported by a community on the same journey. Again, this is key!
You will have insights and learn skills that will serve you for a life of ongoing growth and resilience.
So, do you want to be a centring master, able to hold your shit together during turbulent times?
And do you want to be someone your family, friends or colleagues can turn to for support when they’re struggling?
If yes, then you may like to the course…
A live, online course to become a centring master and support those you care about during turbulent times
On this journey, you’ll learn practical techniques and radical philosophies to…
This course includes eight sessions that will make becoming resilient easy and enjoyable, with the help of a supportive community. These will also be recorded if you can’t make them live.
You’ll also get the pre-recorded course, The Anti-Decadence Odyssey, as a bonus, which will help you to overcome hedonism, narcissism and nihilism through wholesome pleasure and resilience.
The 8 live sessions start on Wednesday, June 19 and end on Wednesday, August 7.
There are also two bonus masterclasses on September 4 and September 11.
Every live session runs for 55-minutes, starting at 6pm UK time (that’s 10am PDT).
There is no requirement to attend live, so if you can’t make it live, recordings will be available to watch in your own time.
The live sessions are split into three parts:
PART 1:
Centring Master: self-regulation for turbulent times
PART 2:
Build your own super lovely underpinning radical philosophy (SLURP)
PART 3:
Supporting other’s mental health: for parents, managers and concerned friends
If you intend to complete the whole course during the period it runs live, it will take around 2 hours per week between the live sessions, self-paced bonus learning and practice.
However, do note that this is optional. We’ve found that giving people the opportunity to attend live brings an important community element, but even if you can’t and need to spread the course out over several months, you will still benefit profoundly.
There’s also the option to join discussions on a private course group on our portal, along with a private WhatsApp group, so this gives you extra support on your journey, particularly if you can’t make the live sessions.
Honestly, whichever path you choose for your course journey will impact you positively, and lead to deep changes for you, along with those you support.
CEO & Founder of Embodiment Unlimited
Mark Walsh leads embodiment, coaching and trauma education trainings.
He is the author of Embodiment, Working with the Body in Training and Coaching, and Embodied Meditation. Mark hosts The Embodiment Podcast (2 million+ downloads), and led The Embodiment Conference (1000 teachers, 500,000 delegates). Seeing a theme yet?
He founded the Embodied Facilitator Course, and the Certificate of Embodiment Coaching. Mark has certified over 2000 embodiment coaches, and taught workshops in over 40 other countries.
He gained an honours degree in psychology (despite been an alcoholic at the time), and has taught widely in the corporate world – where he pretended to be a grown up for years – including with blue-chip companies (e.g. Google, Unilever, Shell, Axa, L’Oreal).
Mark has worked in war zones (including founding a trauma education charity in Ukraine), and entertained over 50,000 children. He has headlined International Coach Federation events, lived with the circus and in slums, taught celebrities, and kissed a princess.
Mark is an aikido black belt, and also has 28 years of experience in other martial arts, yoga, bodywork, improv comedy, conscious dance and meditation.
Embodiment is his obsession, life’s work, and frankly, at this point he couldn’t get a job doing anything else. He dances like your dad at a wedding, impresses cats with his stroking, and offends pirates with his swearing.
Mark’s now tired of writing in the third person. It’s getting weird.

“Have you noticed everyone is a little nuts lately? Whether it be full-blown anxiety or depression, or just feeling ‘frayed around the edges’, things aren’t quite right.
Let’s get real: things are not going to magically improve anytime soon either. Frankly, things may well get worse before they get better.
So, what can we do?
We need to be resilient, right? But most approaches to this take a ‘tricks and tips’ attitude. Having worked worked with all the greats in the field during our summits, I’ve picked up plenty of those, but they don’t quite cut it.
… Something deeper is needed.
Yes, mindfulness and yoga are great, but to get through things now, we need to go much deeper.
Last year I hit debt, divorce, illness and vicarious trauma from war all at once. Downwards dog alone wasn’t going to be enough! I had to dig deeper.
What I learnt is now a firm foundation for turbulent times and I’d like to share it with you. Some of it is a bit radical. All of it is practical. Do you want in?”

Cultivating resilience isn’t all about pushing yourself to do difficult things. Whilst that plays a part, we’d argue that wholesome connection and pleasure can play an even bigger role in raising baseline resilience.
That’s why we’re including the self-paced course, The Anti-Decadence Odyssey, when you join. On it, you’ll learn…
We’d love to see you able to share what you learn on the course with others.
That’s why we’ve also added two bonus How to Teach Centring masterclasses to the course.
If you lead others – whether as a coach, facilitator, manager, parent or supportive member of your community – these will be really helpful.
These two masterclasses will be held at the same timeslot – Wednesdays at 6pm – but live on September 4 and 11.
This gives you a break over August to integrate what you learn from the core part of the course into your life before you step into helping others cultivate deep resilience.
