Like me, do you want a planet with more people really in touch with themselves and each other?
Do you long to make a difference transforming lives?
How about using what you already know from embodied practice to help others?
Many of us love embodiment and know it’s incredibly powerful. How then can we support other people, and make the world a kinder, more connected place?
Becoming an embodiment coach is one answer.
Simply put, coaching with the body is effective. It creates deep, experiential insights, and brings about real, lasting changes. It’s transformative. It works.
Through the Certification of Embodiment Coaching (CEC), you’ll become a confident, competent embodiment coach.
CEC starts with a deep dive into your own embodiment, learning techniques from multiple modalities to use in daily life.
After your personal journey, you’ll move on to facilitating real, lasting changes in others.
Along with live online webinars, self-paced videos, and home learning, CEC includes weekly peer groups and practise with real-life clients, making it not just another online course. It’s a growing, supportive global community.
Our experienced, multicultural team will also support you to integrate your learning with what you already know. This principles-based approach gives you a broad spectrum of tools to use with your clients, in your own creative way.
If you’re an embodiment enthusiast, this course will be a hell of a personal growth journey, and help you to support others effectively… if that’s where you decide to take it. Embodiment coaching is a great way to earn a living – it’s ethical, fun and deeply satisfying.
We can help you to apply what you already know, and give you all the tools you need.
If you’re already a coach, you can add embodiment work into what you do.
Learning how to use the body safely will take your work to the next level. Talk alone isn’t always enough for real change, and we can show you simple, powerful, non-athletic embodied tools. They will help you go deeper quicker with your clients, and make changes stick.
And if you’re a group facilitator or teacher, CEC will give you the skills to coach your students 1-to-1 and lead mainstream groups.
125-hour training to coach safely and confidently with the body
from the world's most experienced online embodiment trainers.
The 60-minute live weekly webinars start on February 6 and end on August 6.
You have the choice to attend one of the three different live timeslots on Tuesdays:
You’ll also get 37 hours accredited as ICF CCE’s:
Or you want an intensive personal growth journey, then CEC may be a great fit.
CEC is for anyone who wants more confidence, clarity and safety facilitating with the body.
A certification to show you are a confident, capable embodiment coach, AND:
CEC Lead Trainers Christina and Mark
You can’t read your way into embodiment, so the majority of the learning is practice-based, both alone and with others.
While we take what we do very seriously, we like to have fun while we do it. Having a sense of humour is important if you’re going to do any of our courses.
We don’t like to beat around the bush. We deliver the exact learning you need to get the outcomes you want without any of the wishy-washy nonsense around today.
We bring together many diverse points of view on embodiment and will never tell you there’s only one way of doing things. You can decide for yourself what you want to believe, use or not use.
We’re a culturally diverse team, with eight languages spoken between us. We aim to do everything from a trauma-informed culturally-aware point of view, with consent and care at the heart of everything we teach.
CEC 2024 started on February 6 and will end on August 6.
The core part of CEC 2025 will start and end on similar dates, starting on the first or second Tuesday of February (4th or 11th) and ending on the final Tuesday of July or first Tuesday of August.
Live webinars are usually 60-minutes long and run on Tuesdays at 9am, 6pm UK time and 2am UK time.
If you’re in the Americas, that’s 1am, 10am and 6pm PST.
If you’re in Australasia, that’s 8pm, 5am and 1pm AEDT (the next day).
You must attend 80% of the webinars to graduate, and since there are 25 live Tuesday webinars, that means you must attend 20 of them. There are also two rest weeks.
However, you can pick the session time that suits you, which might be different on different weeks, and you’re allowed to join more than one in the same week (although joining multiple webinars in the same week won’t count towards the minimum of 20 to certify).
We estimate that it’ll take 5-6 hours per week to do this course (it varies week-to-week).

CEO & Founder, Embodiment Unlimited
“It’s easy to buy a course online and then not actually do it, eh?!
That doesn’t happen with CEC.
CEC has live calls (with three time options), a clear structure that busy people can follow, peer group accountability (people LOVE these little groups), a discussion platform away from social media, an app for easy access, and great support from our (über-German) dedicated course manager Alina.
Every live call has “tech hosts” and learning assistants offering support in multiple languages, too.
CEC’s simply a great experience. We’ve been doing this stuff online for quite a while before it was cool, and regularly we’re told our sessions are both professional and enlivening.
In short, I regard CEC as the standard other online courses aspire to. It’s also not a learning journey to be taken lightly, as we only want students who will put the work in to make the most of it.”
The team is extremely diverse, with each member bringing their own perspectives and insights. This means you’ll get the most practical techniques from a variety of different modalities and practices.
CEO & Founder, Embodiment Unlimited
“Mr Embodiment” is the author of Embodiment, Working with the Body in Training and Coaching, and Embodied Meditation. He hosts The Embodiment Podcast (1 million+ downloads), and led The Embodiment Conference (1000 teachers, 500,000 delegates). Seeing a theme yet?
He founded the Embodied Facilitator Course in the UK and Russia, and has trained over 2000 embodiment coaches in over 40 other countries (some of which will even let him back in).
He gained an honours in psychology (despite been an alcoholic at the time), and has taught widely in the corporate world where he pretended to be a grown up for years, including with blue-chip companies (e.g. Unilever, Shell, Axa, L’Oreal) whom he charged wayyyy too much as they made him wear a suit.
He has also upset… sorry, taught… many yogis, NGOs, police officers and several militaries.
He has worked in war zones, and entertained over 50,000 children. He has headlined International Coach Federation events, taught at Moscow State University, lived with the circus in Ethiopia, taught celebrities and kissed a princess.
Mark is an aikido black belt, and also has 25 years of experience of other martial arts, with yoga, bodywork, improv comedy, conscious dance and meditation.
Embodiment is his obsession, life’s work, and frankly at this point he couldn’t get a job doing anything else. He dances like your dad at a wedding, overshares about his gorgeous Ukrainian wife, and offends pirates with his swearing.
He is now tired of writing in the third person.
Embodiment Coach & Somatic Educator
Christina is a co-lead trainer on the Certification of Embodiment Coaching course, a passionate dancer and improviser who holds an MSc in Social Sciences.
She has an aikido black belt and is a master of integrated mixed modalities from many worlds. Her work has taken her all around the world, from London, Berlin and Switzerland, to South-East Asia and back.
Christina guides groups and individuals through embodied enquiry exercises presented in a playful package while targeting greater self-awareness and personal growth.

With nearly 40 years experience in meditation and embodiment practices, Adam focussed deeply upon the 5Rhythms from 1991-2019, training with Gabrielle Roth to teach her work and building a world-wide reputation for powerfully transformative workshops. Having understood the profound symbolism of Euler’s Identity —arguably the keystone of mathematics— his work is now coming of age, integrating its meaning into an understanding of human nature and thereby bridging the worlds of science and spirituality with personal and collective evolution.

“Training people to be better embodied facilitators is my life’s work.
I do many things: trauma education in Ukraine, corporate work, embarrassing middle-aged dad-wedding-style disco dancing… but the only thing I do really well is this. I wrote the book on it, did the conference, host the podcast… and I love it.
I want a saner, kinder, more embodied world. And those things go together. This is our mission.
We also have our own unique style of doing this work. We’re practical – so if you want to be super-ultra-mega crystal-shagging spiritual… maybe stay away. And if that didn’t make the point already, we have a good time and aren’t exactly politically correct.
If you’re easily offended, find a course in Portland or some s**t, as we’ll be having fun learning. Frankly, we’re not everyone’s cup of tea, but you won’t find a better embodiment coaching course, so if the bad jokes don’t put you off, I hope to see you on CEC.”
(worth $448)
If you join CEC before early-bird ends on February 2, you’ll get the Introduction to Trauma course with Mark Walsh & Patricia Aguirre, along with the Giants of Trauma pack with the following trauma experts…

Got a question about CEC that’s not answered in the FAQs below?
Please get in touch with Virginia on support@embodimentunlimited.com to make sure that CEC is a good fit you.
We do CEC once per year, so if you want to join, 2025 is the next training cycle.
CEC will likely run from February–August 2025
Anyone can buy this course and attend what they want. However, if you want a certificate of graduation and the associated 37 ICF CCE’s, you need to do the following:
NOTE: If special life situations arise, we can be flexible and make exceptions in individual classes, as long as you tell us ASAP (don’t wait several months and then come and ask).
No – you can choose to attend only one of the three timeslots offered, either 9am, 6pm or 2am UK time.
It doesn’t need to be the same time every week, and you’re also allowed to attend more than one if you want.
But you must be there live 80% of the weeks. As there are live webinars on 25 weeks, that means you must attend 20 of the live Tuesday slots over the entirety of CEC.
Yes, you can get a total of 37 hours (Core Competency hours and Resource Development hours) from the ICF for graduating from CEC, as long as you complete the certification requirements (minimal live attendance, completion of coursework, etc.).
Not at all.
We don’t imagine you’re completely new to embodiment, otherwise you wouldn’t have found your way here anyway.
CEC has four main groups of students – existing coaches, those who would like to become coaches, group teachers or facilitators, and people who simply love embodiment or personal growth.
All are welcome!
No. You’re very welcome to use all the tools in your coaching and teaching, but if you train others, we’d ask you to mention the original sources.
You’ll notice we do this with much of what we’ve learnt too, whether it’s peacemaking from Paul Linden, embodied leadership from Wendy Palmer, trauma work from the likes of David Berceli and David Treleaven, or whatever else.
It’s basic ethics and respect.
No. CEC requires a time commitment of 5-6 hours a week minimum. If you aren’t prepared to commit this time each week, this isn’t the course for you.
That being said, the majority of the course is flexible and can be done in your own time. So CEC is suitable to work around a busy diary.
Yes. This course is designed to give you practical tools that you can actually apply to mainstream/business environments.
Many of the facilitators have worked extensively at a high level in corporate environments around the world and with other sceptical groups.
Well, different styles suit different people. But if you’re sick of the guru-led, new-age stuff that’s out there – this course will be a breath of fresh air.
We’re one of the best when it comes to clarity and practicality too, and like to have fun while we learn. We’re happy to recommend alternative courses if this doesn’t sound like you.
Yes. This course gives you some great practical tools to coach with the body confidently and safely. We are world class in teaching this.
We also recommend complete beginners attend a standard coach training in addition if they are completely new to the career. In some countries this may also be necessary for insurance.
Hell no. The team who run the course have a sense of humour and like to have fun while they teach. If you’re easily offended, this isn’t the course for you. Please go back to the safe space that spawned you 🙂
Yes. Don’t worry if you miss a few live sessions here and there, you’ll be able to catch up in your own time.
However, there is a minimum number of live calls you must attend in order to graduate.
Core content is being offered twice to serve different time zones.
Please know in addition to the course, we ask you to read some books that may cause additional payments. Top certify, you’ll also need to try out a few different practices with other providers that can carry small fees, and commit to a new practice starting from April, which may also have fees (depending on the provider).
If you’re keen, you may also choose to join Mark for some live in-person workshops, but they’re not required to certify. If you choose to join these, we may be able to give you a CEC discount.
Yes. Although please be mindful that working with the body can be triggering.
This course is purely educational, so if you are in need of therapy, please seek help from qualified professionals.
This course not only contains live components in the form of webinars, but also incorporates peer group meetings in real time.
By tracking your process through our purpose-built learning platform and practice journals, we help you stay focused and ensure you see the course through.
Yes. Weekly handouts, homework and occasional assignments will be issued to help you properly digest the learning.
We have found that having a live element of the course increases accountability and completion rates (as can be seen from over 80% completion rate last year). If, for some reason, however, you do not manage to complete, you can do it again next year, for a small fee to cover admin costs.
