Want to create a kinder world?

Like me, do you want a planet with more people really in touch with themselves and each other?

Do you long to make a difference transforming lives?

How about using what you already know from embodied practice to help others?

Many of us love embodiment and know it’s incredibly powerful. How then can we support other people, and make the world a kinder, more connected place?

Becoming an embodiment coach is one answer.

Simply put, coaching with the body is effective. It creates deep, experiential insights, and brings about real, lasting changes. It’s transformative. It works.

Learn to coach effectively with the body

Through the Certification of Embodiment Coaching (CEC), you’ll become a confident, competent embodiment coach.

CEC starts with a deep dive into your own embodiment, learning techniques from multiple modalities to use in daily life.

After your personal journey, you’ll move on to facilitating real, lasting changes in others.

Along with live online webinars, self-paced videos, and home learning, CEC includes weekly peer groups and practise with real-life clients, making it not just another online course. It’s a growing, supportive global community.

Our experienced, multicultural team will also support you to integrate your learning with what you already know. This principles-based approach gives you a broad spectrum of tools to use with your clients, in your own creative way.

Start dates and times...

CEC 2024 started on February 6 and will end on August 6.

The core part of CEC 2025 will start and end on similar dates, starting on the first or second Tuesday of February (4th or 11th) and ending on the final Tuesday of July or first Tuesday of August.

Live webinars are usually 60-minutes long and run on Tuesdays at 9am, 6pm UK time and 2am UK time.

If you’re in the Americas, that’s 1am, 10am and 6pm PST.

If you’re in Australasia, that’s 8pm, 5am and 1pm AEDT (the next day).

You must attend 80% of the webinars to graduate, and since there are 25 live Tuesday webinars, that means you must attend 20 of them. There are also two rest weeks.

However, you can pick the session time that suits you, which might be different on different weeks, and you’re allowed to join more than one in the same week (although joining multiple webinars in the same week won’t count towards the minimum of 20 to certify).

CEO & Founder, Embodiment Unlimited & The Embodiment Conference

“Mr Embodiment” is the author of Embodiment, Working with the Body in Training and Coaching, and Embodied Meditation. He hosts The Embodiment Podcast (1 million+ downloads), and led The Embodiment Conference (1000 teachers, 500,000 delegates). Seeing a theme yet?

He founded the Embodied Facilitator Course in the UK and Russia, and has trained over 2000 embodiment coaches in over 40 other countries (some of which will even let him back in).

He gained an honours in psychology (despite been an alcoholic at the time), and has taught widely in the corporate world where he pretended to be a grown up for years, including with blue-chip companies (e.g. Unilever, Shell, Axa, L’Oreal) whom he charged wayyyy too much as they made him wear a suit.

He has also upset… sorry, taught… many yogis, NGOs, police officers and several militaries.

He has worked in war zones, and entertained over 50,000 children. He has headlined International Coach Federation events, taught at Moscow State University, lived with the circus in Ethiopia, taught celebrities and kissed a princess.

Mark is an aikido black belt, and also has 25 years of experience of other martial arts, with yoga, bodywork, improv comedy, conscious dance and meditation.

Embodiment is his obsession, life’s work, and frankly at this point he couldn’t get a job doing anything else. He dances like your dad at a wedding, overshares about his gorgeous Ukrainian wife, and offends pirates with his swearing.

He is now tired of writing in the third person.

Why I love this course... and a warning

“Training people to be better embodied facilitators is my life’s work.

I do many things: trauma education in Ukraine, corporate work, embarrassing middle-aged dad-wedding-style disco dancing… but the only thing I do really well is this. I wrote the book on it, did the conference, host the podcast… and I love it.

I want a saner, kinder, more embodied world. And those things go together. This is our mission.

We also have our own unique style of doing this work. We’re practical – so if you want to be super-ultra-mega crystal-shagging spiritual… maybe stay away. And if that didn’t make the point already, we have a good time and aren’t exactly politically correct.

If you’re easily offended, find a course in Portland or some s**t, as we’ll be having fun learning. Frankly, we’re not everyone’s cup of tea, but you won’t find a better embodiment coaching course, so if the bad jokes don’t put you off, I hope to see you on CEC.”

Please get in touch with Virginia on support@embodimentunlimited.com to make sure that CEC is a good fit you.

FAQs

No – you can choose to attend only one of the three timeslots offered, either 9am, 6pm or 2am UK time.

It doesn’t need to be the same time every week, and you’re also allowed to attend more than one if you want.

But you must be there live 80% of the weeks. As there are live webinars on 25 weeks, that means you must attend 20 of the live Tuesday slots over the entirety of CEC.

Not at all.

We don’t imagine you’re completely new to embodiment, otherwise you wouldn’t have found your way here anyway.

CEC has four main groups of students – existing coaches, those who would like to become coaches, group teachers or facilitators, and people who simply love embodiment or personal growth.

All are welcome!

No. CEC requires a time commitment of 5-6 hours a week minimum. If you aren’t prepared to commit this time each week, this isn’t the course for you.

That being said, the majority of the course is flexible and can be done in your own time. So CEC is suitable to work around a busy diary.

Well, different styles suit different people. But if you’re sick of the guru-led, new-age stuff that’s out there – this course will be a breath of fresh air.

We’re one of the best when it comes to clarity and practicality too, and like to have fun while we learn. We’re happy to recommend alternative courses if this doesn’t sound like you.

Hell no. The team who run the course have a sense of humour and like to have fun while they teach. If you’re easily offended, this isn’t the course for you. Please go back to the safe space that spawned you 🙂

Yes. Don’t worry if you miss a few live sessions here and there, you’ll be able to catch up in your own time.

However, there is a minimum number of live calls you must attend in order to graduate.

Core content is being offered twice to serve different time zones.

Yes. Although please be mindful that working with the body can be triggering.

This course is purely educational, so if you are in need of therapy, please seek help from qualified professionals.

This course not only contains live components in the form of webinars, but also incorporates peer group meetings in real time.

By tracking your process through our purpose-built learning platform and practice journals, we help you stay focused and ensure you see the course through.

Yes. Weekly handouts, homework and occasional assignments will be issued to help you properly digest the learning.

We have found that having a live element of the course increases accountability and completion rates (as can be seen from over 80% completion rate last year). If, for some reason, however, you do not manage to complete, you can do it again next year, for a small fee to cover admin costs.
