Want to have a positive impact on the world?

Do you also want a planet with more people in touch with themselves and each other?

Do you long to make a difference transforming lives? How about using what you’ve learnt about embodiment to help others?

Many of us love embodiment and know it’s incredibly powerful. And we’ve experienced how it can go even deeper in-person.

That’s why we’re offering an in-person embodiment coach certification again: LECC , the Live Embodiment Coaching Certification.

We did this from 2013-2020 on EFC (the Embodied Facilitator Course), and it’s time we got back to what we do best…

Get in-person support learning practical tools

Coaching with the body is effective. It creates real, rapid shifts, and brings deep, lasting changes. Embodied coaching is transformative, and it works.

But… learning to coach online is not for everyone. Some people learn better in-the-flesh, connecting face-to-face with other humans.

On this certification, you’ll get the best of both worlds: recorded materials to learn what you need in your own time, plus in-person trainings for depth, fun, and personal feedback.

At the end, you’ll be a certified embodiment coach. That way, you can support other people, and make the world a kinder, more connected place.

Make a living as an embodiment coach

If you’re an embodiment enthusiast, this course will be a wonderful deep dive that helps you to support others. It’s also a great way to earn a living. Ethical, fun and deeply satisfying.

We can help you to apply what you already know, and give you all the tools you need.

If you’re already a coach, you can add this to your skills.

Learning how to use the body safely will take your work to the next level. Talk alone isn’t enough for real change, and we can show you simple, powerful, non-athletic embodiment tools. They will help you to go deeper quicker, and make changes stick.

And if you’re a group facilitator or teacher, LECC will give you the skills to facilitate 1-to-1, and with mainstream groups.

Presents the

Live Embodiment Coach Certification

A flexible, in-person training to learn the principles and tools to coach safely with the body

Plus you'll get extra support from experienced online embodiment coach trainers

With the support of our experienced team, you’ll dive into your own embodiment, learning a host of techniques from a variety of different modalities.

You’ll also have a GREAT time, with lovely people, in gorgeous locations (I’m not gonna lie: that’s a major plus to in-person!)

By the end of this certification, you’ll have the tools you need to support your clients in their growth and bring about real, lasting change.

The course is made up of live in-person workshops, peer-to-peer support, pre-recorded learning, and home practices. You will have the opportunity to practise with real-life clients and participants to solidify your learning.

The curriculum covers a range of practices and modalities. You’ll explore how they integrate with one another, and get a broad spectrum of tools to use with your clients.

If you're...

Looking to become an embodiment coach

and want to learn a clear, safe framework

An experienced coach or facilitator

who wants practical embodiment tools

A movement or meditation teacher

looking for tools to work with mainstream groups or 1-to-1 clients

AND…

you’re open to learning, have a sense of humour, plus are actually fun to spend a lot of time face-to-face with…

Then LECC may be a great fit.

But, LECC is not for the sensitive, easily-offended, woke, new-age crystal-shaggers, people who know everything already, or those who do not want to look deeply at themselves.

Course structure

This training consists of four core intensives in Frome (near Bath, UK), plus an optional European immersion (choose between two locations):

In order to certify, you must:

Attend the live intensives

To graduate LECC, you must attend the four short UK intensives. These are held over the weekend to be more accessible to those working during the week.

If you can’t attend all the UK workshops, but you’re keen, please contact us – we can work out another option.

You also have the option to join the longer European intensives (dates above).

Complete personal & professional practice

While the intensives will be fun and deep, real change comes from consistent practice.

To certify, you will need to do about 30-40 hours of embodiment work, starting after your first intensive.

That works out to be about two hours per week.

Learn the theory

To get the theory side (so we can make the most of in-person training), you’ll need to watch around 30 hours of online videos in your own time. That’s 1-2 hours per week.

Many can be listened to while outside or walking if you hate being stuck to a screen. You’ll also have access to many more recorded demonstrations and online classes if you’d like (we have quite a library).

Get assessed

You’ll need to undertake a coaching exam with Mark to get certified.

This will take place during the final module or afterwards by video.

About the in-person intensives

It is necessary to be present for the entire time of the core (UK) intensives for certification, so check your travel plans (i.e. don’t leave early or arrive late).

Please note that travel, food, and accommodation are not included in the course price.

Four of the LECC intensives will be held in Frome, UK (near Bath), which is ten total days of training. See the dates above.

These UK intensives are required (unless arranged prior – contact us for options), and have the schedule of 7-9pm UK time Friday, 9am-6pm UK time Saturday, and 9am-5pm UK time Sunday.

You may also like to attend one of the two European intensives options. These start at 10am CET on the first day, and will end by 5pm CET on the final day.

In total, there are four core intensives, plus the two European options.

The flow of in-person intensives...

All live intensives start with a personal deep-dive into embodiment practice. The later intensives will then move into coaching practice.

While there will be a little theory and space for questions, experiential learning is central to the training. Theory and practice will also be provided as you work through the Foundations of Embodiment Course (FEC) online between workshops.

Workshops will be rich and intense explorations of embodiment practice, with live support and feedback, and plenty of space for connection with other attendees.

We will teach you Embodiment Unlimited tools such as four elements coaching, centring, leader-follower coaching; and more.

This in-person experience will give you the opportunity to get feedback from Mark, to strengthen your personal practice, and allow you to facilitate embodiment creatively in your own authentic style.

Our 5 learning pillars

Practice & integration

You can’t read your way into embodiment, so the majority of the learning is practise-based both alone and with others.

No BS

We don’t like to beat around the bush. We deliver the exact learning you need to get the outcomes you want without any of the wishy washy nonsense around today.

Culture & trauma aware

We’re a culturally diverse team with 11 languages spoken between us. We aim to do everything from a trauma-informed culturally-aware point of view, with consent and care at the heart of everything we teach.

Multiple perspectives

We bring together many diverse points of view on embodiment and will never tell you there’s only one way of doing things. You can decide for yourself what you want to believe, use or not use.

A sense of humour

While we take what we do very seriously, we like to have fun while we do it. Having a sense of humour is important if you’re going to do any of our courses.

What you'll get by certifying in-person...

What some of our graduates and 10,693 students say...

Course team

The team is extremely diverse and each brings their own perspectives and insights, bringing you the most practical techniques from a variety of different modalities and practices.

Mark Walsh

CEO & Founder, Embodiment Unlimited

Mark Walsh teaches embodiment, trauma education and anti-decadence.

He is the author of Embodiment, Working with the Body in Training and Coaching, and Embodied Meditation. Mark hosts The Embodiment Podcast (2 million+ downloads), and led The Embodiment Conference (1000 teachers, 500,000 delegates). Seeing a theme yet?

He founded the Embodied Facilitator Course, and the Certificate of Embodiment Coaching. Mark has certified over 2000 embodiment coaches, and taught workshops in over 40 other countries.

He gained an honours degree in psychology (despite been an alcoholic at the time), and has taught widely in the corporate world – where he pretended to be a grown up for years – including with blue-chip companies (e.g. Google, Unilever, Shell, Axa, L’Oreal).

Mark has worked in war zones (including founding a trauma education charity in Ukraine), and entertained over 50,000 children. He has headlined International Coach Federation events, lived with the circus and in slums, taught celebrities, and kissed a princess.

Mark is an aikido black belt, and also has 28 years of experience in other martial arts, yoga, bodywork, improv comedy, conscious dance and meditation.

Embodiment is his obsession, life’s work, and frankly, at this point he couldn’t get a job doing anything else. He dances like your dad at a wedding, impresses cats with his stroking, and offends pirates with his swearing.

Mark’s now tired of writing in the third person. It’s getting weird.

Back to life

Mark Walsh

CEO & Founder, Embodiment Unlimited

“Training people to be embodiment facilitators is my life’s work.

I do many things: trauma education in Ukraine, corporate work, embarrassing middle-aged dad-wedding-style disco dancing… but the only thing I do really well is this. I wrote the book on it… and I love it.

I want a saner, kinder, more embodied world. And those things go together. This is my purpose.

From 2013-2020, I certified coaches in-person and had a great time doing it on the Embodied Facilitators Course (EFC). Like EFC was, LECC is honestly in the top 2-3 embodiment coach certification trainings in the world.

When Zoom came along, we realised we could certify coaches online through CEC.  Online is great for accessibility and spreading learning out, but there’s no replacing the visceral, personal, FUN of getting together in the real world! I’m sorry, but it’s also just more embodied.

In-person training is connected and enjoyable, but we’re also very practical – so if you want to be super-ultra-mega crystal-shagging spiritual… maybe stay away. And if that didn’t make the point already, we have a good time and aren’t exactly politically correct.

If you’re easily offended, find a course in Portland or some s**t, as we’ll be having fun learning. Frankly, we’re not everyone’s cup of tea, but you won’t find a better in-person embodiment coaching course than LECC, so if the bad jokes don’t put you off, I hope to see you there.”

Embodiment Coaching Demonstrations

Many coaches hesitate to work with embodiment. They worry it will bring up trauma, that their mainstream coaching clients will react badly, or they’re unsure how to apply theory to practice.

During this course, you’ll witness real coaching with real clients, explained one step at a time. Understand what works in practice, take away techniques you can apply immediately, and help your clients achieve meaningful and lasting change.

FAQs

If you know before joining the course that some of the dates won’t work, we can offer you an alternative options.

We must have advance notice for this, however.

If there’s a last-minute emergency, or life gets in the way (really – not just “I missed my flight because I slept in”), contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll again try to be flexible with options.

This will be a small group for focused learning, and I expect to get to know everyone personally. We are understanding, as long as you give us as much notice as possible at all times.

Anyone can buy this course and attend what they want. However, if you want a certificate of graduation, you need to do the following:

  • Attend all four Frome intensives
  • Complete all online course work (FEC)
  • Do all home practice
  • Pass an exam with Mark at the end of LECC
  • NOTE: If special life situations arise, we are flexible and will make exceptions in individual classes.

No, these are optional. They’re recommended if you can make them though.

No. There’s a big commitment during the course to attend in-person intensives, along with the at-home learning and practice. If you aren’t prepared to commit this time, this isn’t the course for you.

That being said, the course is flexible and can be done in your own time (with the exception of mandatory in-person intensives). With LECC, you can work around a busy diary… as long as you block out the dates for the in-person intensives.

Yes. This course is designed to give you practical tools that you can actually apply to mainstream/business environments.

Many of the facilitators have worked extensively at a high level in corporate environments around the world and with other sceptical groups.

Well, different styles suit different people. But if you’re sick of the guru-led, new-age stuff that’s out there – this course will be a breath of fresh air.

We’re one of the best when it comes to clarity and practicality too, and like to have fun while we learn. We’re happy to recommend alternative courses if this doesn’t sound like you.

Yes. This course gives you some great practical tools to coach with the body confidently and safely. We are world class in teaching this.

We also recommend complete beginners attend a standard coach training in addition if they are completely new to the career. In some countries this may also be necessary for insurance.

Hell no. The team who run the course have a sense of humour and like to have fun while they teach. If you’re easily offended, this isn’t the course for you. Please go back to the safe space that spawned you 🙂

Please be aware that food, travel or accommodation is not included in the course price.

In addition, we ask you to read some books that may carry extra costs.

You must also try out a few different practices with other providers that can carry small fees (the cost of a yoga, dance or martial arts class, etc.).

Yes. Although please be mindful that working with the body can be triggering.

This course is purely educational, so if you are in need of therapy, please seek help from qualified professionals.

Yes, you’ll have access to handouts to help you properly digest the learning.

We have found that having a live stuff increases accountability and completion rates.

If, for some reason, however, life gets in the way, please speak to us ASAP. This will give us the greatest chance to be flexible and provide other options in the future (don’t get in contact with us after missing a few modules and then ask).

Got a question we haven’t addressed here?

Just email support@embodimentunlimited.com and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
