Why embodied leadership matters

Leadership is easy when everyone is calm, sensible and doing what they said they would.

So, almost never.

The real test is what happens when pressure rises:

Most leadership advice assumes you’ll have access to your “best self” when it matters, whatever that is.

Often, you won’t. We’re all human, after all.

Under pressure, people default to patterns, habits and conditioning.

This masterclass is about what to do then.

What you'll learn

In this free masterclass, you’ll learn practical embodied ways to:

Centre yourself when pressure rises

Notice when you’re being pulled into reactivity

Stay firm without becoming rigid or aggressive

Work with difficult people without losing yourself

Train leadership presence through the body, not just understand it in your head

This will be useful for meetings, groups, teams, clients, families, communities and other places where humans gather and make life complicated.

This is not another leadership model

Enthusiasm 2 landscape smaller

Don’t expect corporate jargon, productivity hacks or motivational bullsh*t about “becoming the best version of yourself”.

This is a practical, embodied masterclass on what happens when leadership gets human:

Bring a body. They’re involved.

Who embodied leadership is for

This is for you if you ever have to:

It will be especially relevant for:

You don’t need “leader” in your job title.

But you do need to care how you show up when it matters.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. This is a free live masterclass with Mark Walsh.

You’ll need to register so we can send you the joining link, reminders and replay.

Yes. A replay will be sent to registrants after the session.

Attend live if you can, as Mark will use real examples and questions from the group.

The masterclass is on Monday 22 June at 9am UK time. That’s 4am ET, 1am PT or 6pm AEST.

If that’s a ridiculous time where you live (hello, North Americans!), register anyway and we’ll send the replay.

It’s for people who have to stay useful when people, groups or situations get difficult.

It will be especially relevant for coaches, facilitators, trainers, business owners, team leaders, managers, consultants and community leaders.

You don’t need “leader” in your job title. You do need to care how you show up when it matters.

No.

Some familiarity with coaching, facilitation, leadership or personal development may help, but you don’t need previous embodiment training.

Bring a body. Apparently it’s involved.

It’s a practical free masterclass first.

The session is also the starting point for Mark’s July Embodied Leadership Intensive, for those who want to take the work further. We’ll say a little about that, but the masterclass itself will be useful on its own.
