Want to make a career out of embodiment?

The world needs more embodied people, and becoming an embodied facilitator is the most effective way to be a part of making that happen.

If you love embodiment and want to help ensure there’s more self-regulation, self-responsibility, kindness and presence in the world, you’ve come to the right place.

The Embodied Facilitation Certification

Online, in-depth embodied facilitator training

The first part of the Embodied Facilitator Certification (EFC) is the Certificate of Embodiment Coaching. If you’ve already done this, the rest of EFC is a 2 year course. After completing CEC you’ll select 4 of our ‘Big Five’ embodiment facilitation courses which will take a further 2 years.

This is currently the most comprehensive embodiment qualification available world-wide, and training embodiment facilitators is what we do best.

With combined experience of over 100 years between our four lead trainers, a focus on practicing what you learn with real people throughout, and more than 500 embodied facilitators certified to date, this is the certification you want if embodiment is your passion.

This certification is the culmination of everything an effective, dynamic, ethical and safe embodied facilitator needs to know to step straight into a full time career in the field.

If you want to…

The Embodied Facilitator Certification is likely exactly what you’ve been looking for

Not just another online course…

If you’ve ever felt like just another number in an online course, you’re not alone!

Studying online can easily leave you feeling anonymous, making it tough to find the motivation to perform at your best and complete the certification.

Not with EFC!

We’ve specifically designed The Embodied Facilitator Certification to ensure you feel seen, heard and supported right from the start.

The small group sizes, emphasis on live work and personal feedback ensure you’ll actually get to know your teachers and fellow students. You can rest assured your teachers are carefully monitoring your learning progress to make sure you stay motivated and on track.

*Please note: We are only accepting 50 people for the university in order to maintain this level of individual attention and care

Mark Walsh

CEO & Founder, Embodiment Unlimited & The Embodiment Conference | Lead Trainer

“Mr Embodiment” is the author of Embodiment, Working with the Body in Training and Coaching, and Embodied Meditation. He hosts The Embodiment Podcast (1 million+ downloads), and led The Embodiment Conference (1000 teachers, 500,000 delegates). Seeing a theme yet?

He founded the Embodied Facilitator Certification in the UK and Russia, and has trained over 2000 embodiment coaches in over 40 other countries (some of which will even let him back in).

He gained an honours degree in psychology (despite been an alcoholic at the time), and has taught widely in the corporate world where he pretended to be a grown up for years, including with blue-chip companies (e.g. Unilever, Shell, Axa, L’Oreal).

He has also upset… sorry, taught… many yogis, NGOs, police officers and several militaries.

Mark is an aikido black belt, and also has 25 years of experience of other martial arts, with yoga, bodywork, improv comedy, conscious dance and meditation.

Embodiment is his obsession, life’s work, and frankly at this point he couldn’t get a job doing anything else. He dances like your dad at a wedding, overshares about his gorgeous Ukrainian wife, and offends pirates with his swearing.

He is now tired of writing in the third person.

In-person events are making a comeback in 2022!

As an EFC Student you’ll get advanced notice and special rates for the entire event calendar (to be finalised soon).

Each of the ‘big-five’ courses required for certification have live and pre-recorded elements. A certain percentage of the live elements must be attended live in order to certify.

The self-paced courses can be done in your own time, as additional learning, and are not required to be completed in order to certify.

Each course has different start and end dates you can select which order you do them in to work best for you.

No. You can join without having done any coaching training prior, but you will need to successfully graduate from CEC (the Certificate of Embodiment Coaching) to enroll in the Trauma for Facilitators course and to complete the Embodied Facilitator Certification.

You will need to graduate from CEC and four out of five of the facilitation courses to get certified.

This depends on the length of study you have chosen and the order you do the courses in.

Each course has an attendance requirement for you to graduate. You’ll need to make sure you meet that requirement in each case, but you will be able to miss a few sessions in emergencies.

You’ll be able to get a refund up until the second live session of your first enrolled course, after that it won’t be possible. If you’re not able to complete the course, you can appeal to complete the course in the following year.

No. We don’t recommend this as the pressure from doing that many embodiment courses at the same time is overwhelming, given the nature of the work, the personal growth aspect and the time required for integration.

It is likely that you’d not be able to meet the graduation and certification requirements for all your courses, meaning that you’d have to pay the full yearly rate again which will be a more expensive route.

You need to complete CEC before you can enroll in the 2022 cohort of Trauma for Facilitators, and the 2023 onwards cohorts of the Embodied Meditation Teacher Training.

The other courses don’t require you to have completed CEC to enroll.

You need to graduate from 4 of the 5 to get certified, but if you’d like to do all 5, you may do so.

*Note that one of the courses, Courage to Lead, is for female facilitators only, and so male students cannot enrol on this course.

You will be liable to continue paying the installments for the package you’ve signed up for until it is fully paid, unless you cancel and requested a refund within the allocated time (see above).

No, you will have to complete your payment in full before we issue your certification.

You will need to purchase an additional year of EFC access at the single year rate ($4000).

This is why we recommend being realistic about your ability to complete all the requirements for each course when you choose your timeframe to avoid having to pay more.

You may contact your course manager to discuss your circumstance and the possibility of continuing in the next cohort of students.

However, you will be liable to continue paying the installments for the package you’ve signed up for until it is fully paid, unless you cancel and requested a refund within the allocated time (see above).

You get lifetime access to all the pre-recorded content, the self-paced courses and the TEC library. However you only have access to the live elements (required to be able to certify) of the certification courses for the period you are enrolled in.

If you wish to complete any of these courses live again, you will need to sign up again in the future.
