Perfectly imperfect - with Daniela

A weekly embodiment practice for control enthusiasts and recovering perfectionists.

Do you want to make everything as perfect as possible? Do you expect yourself to be the perfect role model for your clients? Do you like to keep the reins in your hand and end up getting caught in overplanning and wasting too much time on small things?

You’re not alone.

This weekly practice session is for recovering perfectionists and control enthusiasts wanting to find a better balance between what you’re already good at and letting go when needed, in order to serve your clients better.

I’ll introduce short, applicable somatic practices and group coaching as well as working on individual requests around the topic. All aimed at helping you discover your super power in being perfectly imperfect.

Play for creativity - with Christina

Take yourself less seriously. Explore play and creativity as essentials for an embodied life. Unleash the FUN!

Embodiment is a serious business. It seriously helps. Unless you are taking it way too seriously, and then it’s actually counterproductive.

In this class we’ll use different tricks and tools from a lot of modalities (like martial arts, yoga, dance, and others) to get into the body, stop taking ourselves too seriously and unlock our creative potential for our professional and personal lives.

Breaking free of strict structure and form, this class will open you up to trusting your intuition and reading the present moment to find the most effective and appropriate responses.

If you need to unwind, have fun, bring more play into your lives and are ready to surprise yourself, join us!

Your teacher

Sentuality
Female sexuality - with Virginia

Sexy. Embodied. Woman. For vitality, health and joy in life and work.

The essentials of womanhood: sexuality and embodiment in the safe space that Sisterhood creates.

This class aims to provide tools for healing, inspiring, and empowering you to integrate your body’s innate wisdom, and help other women do the same through your work.

We will use embodiment tools to explore, express and  integrate aspects of womanhood that may be taboo, challenging, or underused.

We will dive into cycle awareness, sexuality, sensuality, PMS and other female health issues. Through the body, breath, sounds, archetypes and more, we’ll increase pleasure and tackle shame and taboo.

This class aims to empower, heal, and integrate your full, authentic expression of joy and vitality.

As women we juggle a multitude of roles, often pressed by time, suppressed by conditioning and societal demands, torn between what our body whispers and what our mental notions dictate. This creates a fragmentation, and poses an obstacle to a fully embodied life. Sexuality is often left outside the mix, even for seasoned embodiment practitioners.

We’ll integrate all aspects of womanhood to tap into our innate wisdom, our bodies’ wisdom, and gain insight, creativity, and the power to show up as fully embodied women.

*This class is designed so that everyone can participate fully clothed.

Your teacher

Virginia Moutlia is an Integrative Archetypes & Women’s Groups Trainer. She turned to the Archetypes approach when she was old enough to realise that she could not meet in the flesh the mythic heroes and deities she loved as a child.

Virginia quit a law degree halfway, and chose instead to dedicate the following 20+ years training in theater, tai chi, qigong, yoga, and various psychotherapy approaches as a way to express her creativity, connect to her body, overcome and understand abuse.

Her training provided invaluable tools through serious physical illnesses, sparking the desire to support others’ healing from dis-ease, abuse, and provide them with tools for bringing their dreams to life.

She combines her BA in tourism management with her other passions to create & lead retreats.

She enjoys stargazing, silly dancing, and silence in dark caves. When challenged she resorts to climbing trees, swimming, liaising with cats, artists, teachers and other kinds of life. She draws on all of these for her facilitation, wishing to inspire, support and empower others to tap into a wonder-full life.

Coaching archetypes - with David & Thea

Sovereign Leadership: self-creation through embodying archetypes for coaches.

How do you become a leader in your coaching and facilitation?

Coaching can present us with leadership challenges such as:

  • Feeling intimidated by clients and so playing safe or imposing your agenda
  • Not being fierce enough for your client or not holding your own boundaries
  • Being so empathetic that you become ineffective or so distanced that you don’t build connection
  • Not feeling confident in your creativity and spontaneity as a coach or going too woo woo

All of these behaviours and more can be regulated through embodying the archetypes:

  • Sovereign teaches us to hold our authority and leadership in service to ourselves and our clients
  • Warrior enables us to be fierce on behalf of our clients and also ourselves
  • Lover facilitates connection, relating and deep listening
  • Magician gives us confidence in our creativity as coaches and our ability to create our lives

Through different somatic practices we will access the wisdom and impact of the archetypes giving you new approaches and perspectives to enrich your coaching and super charge your leadership.

There will be opportunities to address specific issues that you bring to the group to explore.

David Brown is a Co-Active Life Coach, Meditator & Martial Artist. After years of emotional neglect and the loss of his brother to suicide, David spent many of his formative years shut down and disconnected from his body and emotions.

The rational and logical training of Biochemistry and Neuroscience only took him so far. Three decades of martial arts has brought him to greater emotional and spiritual alignment. Learning to trust the wisdom of the body has been one of the most profound gifts, bringing him to a place of safety, awareness and vitality.

Embodiment has been the bridge to reclaiming his wholeness, connection and authentic confidence.

David, as an inner leadership coach, works with archetypes to help you connect to your inner wisdom so that you can live in freedom, aliveness and fulfil your purpose.

Thea Allison is a Coach, Teacher, & Embodied Creator. She  embraces a simple philosophy that people have infinite creative potential to build a life of deep and rich personal satisfaction both professionally and personally. Thea has experienced magic in her own life, transforming from a stressed and somewhat lonely business leader, to a happily partnered coach living in Cornwall, sailing her yacht and supporting others to embody the magic of their own creative potential.

With over a decade of experience of teaching and coaching people to create using their intuition and imagination as their guide, Thea has worked with leaders in a wide range of settings. Clients have created new business models, international health projects, new businesses and leadership progression, all backed by increased satisfaction in their personal lives.

As a graduate of the Embodied Facilitator’s Course Thea has developed new offerings that put the body at the heart of the creative process using an approach she calls Embodied Creating. Embodying the archetypes, developed alongside her friend and business partner David Brown, lies at the heart of this offering.

Make different mistakes - with Steve

Break habits and get unstuck from repeating unwanted behaviours

Suitable facilitators or everyday humans, this series will explore how personality is embodied and why we keep making the same mistakes in our lives.

Each week we’ll touch on a different aspect of personality – your ability to handle stress, deal with conflict, experience pleasure, think outside the box, get sh*t done, and anything else you can imagine.

After kindly and playfully identifying your usual manner of f**king up, you’ll be invited to make different mistakes.

Mistakes are portals of discovery, revealing fresh insights that allow you to tackle new (or old) challenges in your life, so start making different mistakes now!

Creative embodied leadership - with Allie & Edi

Integrate Life Force Yoga and Social Presencing Theater for creative embodied leadership

This class will provide tools for those in leadership roles and for systems change in teams, communities and organizations.

We will be embodying creativity with mindful movements from yoga & meditation traditions.

What is OUR collective desire and what shall OUR collective deeds create now?

This will help those who work with teams to develop new strategies for high level impact.

Whether in business, healthcare or communities, one of our initial questions is, “Who are we really, and what is our work?” “How do we compassionately harmonise our minds, hearts and wills for the sake of the planet and others?” Or “What is this moving from ME to WE dance all about, and how does sharing our stories help us now?”

Drawing from yoga, meditation and social presencing theater principles, we will help you explore these questions individually and as a collective.

You will gain insights and tools to help yourself and your clients – be more present & creative in your life, increase your capacity to take in more information, and process more effectively.

You will gain a greater sense of social field awareness, greater capacity to recognise potential prototypes or next steps, and more confidence and freedom to act.

“Mr Embodiment” (Mark Walsh) is the author of Embodiment, Working with the Body in Training and Coaching, and Embodied Meditation. He hosts The Embodiment Podcast (1 million+ downloads), and led The Embodiment Conference (1000 teachers, 500,000 delegates). Seeing a theme yet?

He founded the Embodied Facilitator Course in the UK and Russia, and has trained over 2000 embodiment coaches in over 40 other countries (some of which will even let him back in).

He gained an honours in psychology (despite been an alcoholic at the time), and has taught widely in the corporate world where he pretended to be a grown up for years, including with blue-chip companies (e.g. Unilever, Shell, Axa, L’Oreal) whom he charged wayyyy too much as they made him wear a suit.

He has also upset… sorry, taught… many yogis, NGOs, police officers and several militaries.

He has worked in war zones, and entertained over 50,000 children. He has headlined International Coach Federation events, taught at Moscow State University, lived with the circus in Ethiopia, taught celebrities and kissed a princess.

Mark is an aikido black belt, and also has 25 years of experience of other martial arts, with yoga, bodywork, improv comedy, conscious dance and meditation.

Embodiment is his obsession, life’s work, and frankly at this point he couldn’t get a job doing anything else. He dances like your dad at a wedding, overshares about his gorgeous Ukrainian wife, and offends pirates with his swearing.

He is now tired of writing in the third person.

Sane Ukraine project - with Ukrainian translation 🇺🇦

Trauma & resilience training for Ukrainians (in any country) and humanitarian workers

Ukraine. What to do eh? As many of you know, I not only married a Ukrainian, but have many colleagues, friends and students in the country from my years of work there (I met Daria doing trauma work there eight years ago).

Like many of us I was feeling not just angry, but powerless – until a few days ago. Then I made the decision to do something and not nothing. While I can’t do everything I would like, I decided not to “go gently into the numb night”. The community quickly joined in, and we are now leading several positive ventures to help Ukraine.

I’ve personally delivered medical supplies to a children’s hospital in Lviv, Ukraine, via Krakow. I’m staying on to train 20 local Ukrainians in trauma education and psychological resilience, alongside local trainers I know. We will also be delivering much-needed medical supplies requested by locals.

Don’t just change your social media picture to include a flag, and don’t despair. Donate to the project and, if you really can’t, share the hell out of it! Tell friends in the media, pass it onto rich friends, give money, and send hugs too if you like.

Welcome to a circle of sisterhood, depth and warmth.

A deep dive into internal sensations through micromovement and breath work.

Come join us to hydrate your fascia, stimulate lymphatics, break apart old holding patterns and find out what the score is in your body so you can set it free.

Can you easily tune into your awareness?

What tensions are you holding that you aren’t even aware of?

We will use micromovement and inquiry practice to tune into our depths, trawling for the wisdom that lies under the surface of our skin.
