Practical, proven tools

that fit into your life

It's all a bit crazy, isn't it?

Given how chaotic the world is, self-care is needed more than ever. To be healthy, to have good relationships, and just to get by!

With all that’s going on with the economy, inequality, war, and more, we need to make time for ourselves.

BUT, while we all know we need self-care… do we actually do it?

How do you neglect yourself?

Let’s be honest, what we’re really talking about here are the ways we self-abuse.

It’s not your fault, but you can take responsibility for stopping this.

Even with the best intentions and enough information, many of us don’t do self-care. Why is that?

A deeper approach is needed

Sometimes self-care is presented to us as luxury spa breaks, bubble baths, hours of meditation per day, or spiritually bypassing the world’s problems. This doesn’t really get to the heart of it though, does it?

And, with so many options available, it’s easy to get lost as to what actually makes the difference for us. We don’t have time for it all, and one size does not chill all.

More fundamentally, some of us feel like we don’t deserve self-care and therefore somehow never “find” the time. We feel that it’s selfish or not worth it, even if we know it isn’t.

In order to actually look after ourselves, we must first take a deeper look at what’s going on, and then make the embodied shift to make it happen.

Bring what you know to life

So, if you’ve heard the good advice around self-care but haven’t actually put it into practise, or you just want to retune into what you need right now, this event may be for you.

It will be fun, anarchistic, and introduce you to the Embodied Toolkit, which is a set of tools to make fast embodied shifts, and gain deep insights, rather than just tell you about self-care.

You’ll learn why you’re not self-caring, find specific techniques that work for you, and find the motivation to actually do them.

Presents

Calm in the storm

Self-care for chaotic times

Join us for a 3-step self-care process in 3-days.

You’ll also walk away with 6 Embodied Toolkit poses to use in your daily life.

Three steps to better self-care

Day 1

Understand more deeply what self-care actually is

Day 2

Find the specific techniques that work for you

Day 3

Get motivated to actually do them

What is the Embodied Toolkit?

The Embodied Toolkit consists of simple, fast and powerful tools. You will be given six to take away from this event.

It uses non-athletic, archetypal shapes to shift embodiment and create deep insight, and can be used as a lasting practice ongoing.

These shapes were developed by a team of people around the world over some years.

We’re frequently told that these are some of our most powerful embodied tools. That at times, they’re TOO powerful.

An embodied shift for you and your clients

This self-care event is for everyone, but coaches and facilitators will get something they can take away and use with their clients. The bonus 90-minute masterclass will show you how you can add a new layer of depth to your facilitation.

The benefits of better self-care:

Are you?

Or do you want to?

Then this event may be for you.

However, if you:

Then this event probably isn't a good fit.

Mark Walsh

Founder & CEO, Embodiment Unlimited

“Mr Embodiment” (Mark Walsh) is the author of Embodiment, Working with the Body in Training and Coaching, and Embodied Meditation. He hosts The Embodiment Podcast (1 million+ downloads), and led The Embodiment Conference (1000 teachers, 500,000 delegates). Seeing a theme yet?

He founded the Embodied Facilitator Course,  and has trained over 2000 embodiment coaches in over 40 other countries (some of which will even let him back in).

He gained an honours in psychology (despite been an alcoholic at the time), and has taught widely in the corporate world where he pretended to be a grown up for years, including with blue-chip companies (e.g. Unilever, Shell, Axa, L’Oreal) whom he charged wayyyy too much as they made him wear a suit.

He has also upset… sorry, taught… many yogis, NGOs, police officers and several militaries.

He has worked in war zones, and entertained over 50,000 children. He has headlined International Coach Federation events, lived with the circus in Ethiopia, taught celebrities and kissed a princess.

Mark is an aikido black belt, and also has 25 years of experience of other martial arts, with yoga, bodywork, improv comedy, conscious dance and meditation.

Embodiment is his obsession, life’s work, and frankly at this point he couldn’t get a job doing anything else. He dances like your dad at a wedding, overshares about his gorgeous Ukrainian wife, and offends pirates with his swearing.

He is now tired of writing in the third person.

What some of our past students say about the Embodied Toolkit

What we really mean by self-care

Mark Walsh
Founder & CEO,
Embodiment Unlimited

“A lot of stuff on self-care is complete b******* because it just tells you all these things you should be doing, that you just don’t do.

There are several reasons why we don’t do it. The main one is that people need to get in touch with their embodied sense of self-love rather than the layers of listening to other people, self-abuse and nonsense we’ve picked up over the years.

Another reason is that different self-care practices work for different people at different times.

Self-care isn’t about having a to-do list to tick off. It’s about tuning into what’s really helpful for you at this current moment.

If you have some familiarity with the concept of self-care, and are interested in tuning into your own embodiment, you’re very welcome at this event.”
