Embodied facilitation practice IN THE FLESH

In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to deep dive into our own embodied patterns, as well as learn tools for helping others.

Who's it for?

  • People who have learnt a bit about embodiment and want to go deeper into it
  • Facilitators of all kinds (coaches, yogis, dance teachers, therapists, etc.) who want practical tools for others
  • People open to learning
  • People with a sense of humour who are going to be fun to hang out with for four days

Who's it not for?

  • The sensitive easily offended woke
  • New-age crystal-shaggers
  • People who know everything already
  • People who do not want to look deeply at themselves and are only looking for client tools

What you'll get at this workshop...

  • A deeper experience of your own embodiment
  • Practical centring tools to reduce stress for you and your clients
  • Learn how to teach the eight aspects of embodied intelligence
  • Practise facilitating embodiment in a way that you can’t on the internet
  • Feedback into your own embodiment and facilitation that you can’t get online
  • Bad jokes and an insight into how cheeky Mark can really be
  • Pleasant, recharging days with lovely people

The Programme

The workshop will start with a personal deep-dive into embodied practice before moving into facilitation practice. These will be rich explorations of embodied practice with live support and feedback, and plenty of space for connection with other attendees. You will upgrade your embodied coaching skill set.

The Tools

We will teach you Embodiment Unlimited tools such as the four elements, centring and more. This in-person experience will give you the opportunity to get feedback from Mark, to strengthen your personal practice, and allow you to work with embodiment more instinctively in your life.

The Models

  • Each workshop is different and content often improvisational, but we will likely explore:
  • Meditation (it will be assumed you know beginner techniques, so we can work from there)
  • Trauma (but please note the is not group therapy but education and personal growth)
  • The Embodied Toolkit (very practical tools)
  • Centring (next level training)
  • Four elements (next level training)
  • Relational work
  • 4-6 pragmatic coaching tools, with demos, practice and feedback
  • Nature connection (location and climate allowing – that may mean going outside for some periods, so bring swim wear and warm clothes)

Mark Walsh

CEO and Founder, Embodiment Unlimited

“Mr Embodiment” (Mark Walsh) is the author of Embodiment, Working with the Body in Training and Coaching, and Embodied Meditation.

He hosts The Embodiment Podcast (1 million+ downloads), The Embodiment Channel on YouTube (over 15M views), and led The Embodiment Conference (1000 teachers, 500,000 delegates). Seeing a theme yet?

He co-founded the Embodied Facilitator Course, and the online Certificate of Embodiment Coaching. He has certified over 1000 embodiment coaches.

Mark gained an honours in psychology (despite been an alcoholic at the time), and has taught widely in the corporate world where he pretended to be a grown up for years, including with blue-chip companies (e.g. Google, Unilever, Shell, Axa, L’Oreal) some of whom he charged wayyyy too much as they made him wear a suit.

Mark has over 25 years of experience of extensive embodied practice. This includes several years of residential live-in aikido training, experience in a bunch of other martial arts, loads of yoga, bodywork, improv comedy, body therapy, conscious dance, experiential anatomy and meditation.

He has also triggered… sorry, taught… many yogis, NGOs, police officers, The NHS and several militaries (e.g. in Sierra Leone).

Mark has taught in over 40 countries (most of which will even let him back in), worked in various war zones, and taught over 50,000 children. He has headlined International Coach Federation events, taught at universities, in The House of Lords, lived with the circus in Ethiopia, founded the Sane Ukraine trauma education charity, and kissed a princess.

Embodiment is his obsession, life’s work, and frankly at this point he couldn’t get a job doing anything else. He dances like your dad at a wedding, impresses cats with his stroking, and offends pirates with his swearing.

He is now tired of writing in the third person. It’s getting weird. You get the point.
