In this live in-person workshop, you’ll deep dive into your own embodiment, and learn practical tools for helping others.

This workshop will grow your embodiment, and upgrade your facilitation skills.

What you'll get at this workshop...

  • A deeper experience of your own embodiment
  • Three simple yet effective coaching techniques
  • Practical centring tools to reduce stress for you and your clients
  • Understanding of the eight aspects of embodied intelligence
  • Practise facilitating embodiment in a way that you can’t on the internet
  • Increased trauma sensitivity
  • An understanding as to what excellence in embodied facilitation really is
  • Feedback as to your own embodiment and facilitation (again, that you can’t get online)
  • Bad jokes and cheekiness from Mark (warning: far worse in person!)
  • Pleasant, recharging days with lovely people

Who this is for (and NOT for)?

This workshop is for facilitators of all kinds (coaches, therapists, yoga and dance teachers, etc.) who:

  • Want to go deeper into their embodiment
  • Are open to learning
  • Have a sense of humour, and are going to be fun to hang out with

But it may not be enjoyable for:

  • The sensitive easily-offended woke
  • New-age crystal-shaggers
  • People who know everything already
  • People who do not want to look deeply at themselves, and are only looking for client tools

The flow...

The workshop will start with a personal deep-dive into embodied practice on the first evening before moving into facilitation practice.

While there will be a little theory and space questions, experiential learning is central to the training.

There will be rich and intense explorations of embodied practice, with live support and feedback, and plenty of space for connection with other attendees.

We will teach you Embodiment Unlimited tools such as the four elements coaching, centring, leader-follower coaching; and more. This in-person experience will give you the opportunity to get feedback from Mark, to strengthen your personal practice, and allow you to work with embodiment more creatively and authentically.

The final day...

The final day of this workshop will only be suitable for CEC students or experienced coaches who want to be coachees during an embodiment coaching “exam” from other students there.

There will be at least ten people doing 1-to-1 coaching exams on the Sunday in order to get certified. If you’d like to be there for that process, get some coaching, and listen or learn from the feedback, you’re welcome.

If not, however, we’d suggest booking the cheaper option, which is only for the Friday evening and Saturday, so that you don’t come along for the Sunday.

The models...

Content is often improvisational, as it’s different for every group, but we will likely explore:

  • Meditation (it will be assumed you know beginner techniques, so we can work from there)
  • Trauma (but please note the is not group therapy but education and personal growth)
  • The Embodied Toolkit (very practical tools)
  • Centring (next level training)
  • Four elements (next level training)
  • Relational work
  • Five pragmatic coaching tools, with demos, practice and feedback

Mark Walsh

CEO and Founder, Embodiment Unlimited

Mark Walsh teaches embodiment, trauma education and anti-decadence.

He is the author of Embodiment, Working with the Body in Training and Coaching, and Embodied Meditation. Mark hosts The Embodiment Podcast (2 million+ downloads), and led The Embodiment Conference (1000 teachers, 500,000 delegates). Seeing a theme yet?

He founded the Embodied Facilitator Course, and the Certificate of Embodiment Coaching. Mark has certified over 2000 embodiment coaches, and taught workshops in over 40 other countries.

He gained an honours degree in psychology (despite been an alcoholic at the time), and has taught widely in the corporate world – where he pretended to be a grown up for years – including with blue-chip companies (e.g. Google, Unilever, Shell, Axa, L’Oreal).

Mark has worked in war zones (including founding a trauma education charity in Ukraine), and entertained over 50,000 children. He has headlined International Coach Federation events, lived with the circus and in slums, taught celebrities, and kissed a princess.

Mark is an aikido black belt, and also has 28 years of experience in other martial arts, yoga, bodywork, improv comedy, conscious dance and meditation.

Embodiment is his obsession, life’s work, and frankly, at this point he couldn’t get a job doing anything else. He dances like your dad at a wedding, impresses cats with his stroking, and offends pirates with his swearing.

Mark’s now tired of writing in the third person. It’s getting weird.
