The secret to real, lasting results for your clients

As coaches and facilitators, we’re always looking for what really works with our clients.

The practices, tools and techniques that bring about deep and lasting change.

If you’ve been coaching for a while, you’ll know that while talking things out can be effective, it usually only gets you so far.

When you bring the body into the picture, however, it’s a totally different story.

The Certification of Embodiment Coaching (CEC) is an online course giving you the principles, tools and techniques needed to coach with the body.

With the support of our experienced team, you’ll take a deep dive into your own embodiment, learning a host of techniques from a variety of different modalities to use in your own life.

The course is made up of live online webinars, peer-to-peer learning, video support, and home practices, with the opportunity to practise with real life clients and participants to solidify the learning.

The curriculum covers a range of practices and modalities exploring how they integrate with one another, giving you a broad spectrum of tools to use with your clients.

A typical week on the course

Principles, tools and techniques from a variety of modalities

The team is extremely diverse and each brings their own perspectives and insights, bringing you the most practical techniques from a variety of different modalities and practices.

Integrating trauma awareness & neuroscience

Trauma awareness and an understanding of neuroscience are essential for effective coaching and are integrated throughout the course.

Trauma awareness

The team brings together a breadth of trauma knowledge, from working closely with the likes of Paul Linden, and in modalities such as TRE, as well as experience in war zones and other traumatised groups cross-culturally. This work is a big part of what we do and is really important to us.

Throughout the course we’ll look at consent, boundaries, calibration and many other principles that are key to safe facilitation.

Neuroscience

Knowing how the brain works and how it develops is helpful for achieving real, lasting results with your clients. So throughout the course, you'll get experience-based insights into what really works and an opportunity to explore them for yourself.

What you’ll come away with

Once you graduate, you will be given a certificate to show that you can work with the body safely and effectively in your coaching and facilitation.

What leaders in the field say about our work

Our 5 learning pillars

Practise & integration

You can’t read your way into embodiment, so the majority of the learning is practise-based both alone and with others.

No BS

We don’t like to beat around the bush. We deliver the exact learning you need to get the outcomes you want without any of the wishy washy nonsense around today.

Multiple perspectives

We bring together many diverse points of view on embodiment and will never tell you there’s only one way of doing things. You can decide for yourself what you want to believe, use or not use.

Culture & trauma aware

We’re a culturally diverse team with 11 languages spoken between us. We aim to do everything from a trauma-informed culturally-aware point of view, with consent and care at the heart of everything we teach.

A sense of humour

While we take what we do very seriously, we like to have fun while we do it. Having a sense of humour is important if you’re going to do any of our courses.

Course Co-lead

“Mr Embodiment” is the author of Embodiment, Working with the Body in Training and Coaching, and Embodied Meditation. He hosts The Embodiment Podcast (1 million+ downloads), and led The Embodiment Conference (1000 teachers, 500,000 delegates). Seeing a theme yet?

He founded the Embodied Facilitator Course in the UK and Russia, and has trained over 2000 embodiment coaches in over 40 other countries (some of which will even let him back in).

He gained an honours in psychology (despite been an alcoholic at the time), and has taught widely in the corporate world where he pretended to be a grown up for years, including with blue-chip companies (e.g. Unilever, Shell, Axa, L’Oreal) whom he charged wayyyy too much as they made him wear a suit.

He has also upset… sorry, taught… many yogis, NGOs, police officers and several militaries.

He has worked in war zones, and entertained over 50,000 children. He has headlined International Coach Federation events, taught at Moscow State University, lived with the circus in Ethiopia, taught celebrities and kissed a princess.

Mark is an aikido black belt, and also has 25 years of experience of other martial arts, with yoga, bodywork, improv comedy, conscious dance and meditation.

Embodiment is his obsession, life’s work, and frankly at this point he couldn’t get a job doing anything else. He dances like your dad at a wedding, overshares about his gorgeous Ukrainian wife, and offends pirates with his swearing.

He is now tired of writing in the third person.

Hear what some of our 2021 students say

“Coaches and trainers often ask me why I work with the body, and my answer is always the same:

Because it works.

Sure, there’s lots of great modalities, but embodiment is often the missing piece for coaches and clients alike. Talking things through can help, but words alone rarely create real lasting change. Bringing the body into the picture can change everything, and fast too.

I think that most coaches now know that the body matters, but don’t know how to practically coach with the body. At least not confidently or safely.

That’s why we created the Certification of Embodiment Coaching (CEC) – to give coaches and trainers everything they need to powerfully and creatively bring the body into their work.

Across the 10 months, we teach the most practical tools there are from a variety of different practices. Importantly, we’ll show you how to actually use these with real clients, to get real, lasting results. We also address the underlying principles behind them so you can blend embodiment with your existing skills.

Last year, we helped over 300 coaches, trainers and facilitators integrate the body into their work on CEC, and we’d love to help you do the same.”
